BeBeSup, For The Most Delicate Of Skins

BeBeSup Wipes

BeBeSup Wipes

About a year ago, I did a baby wipe challenge here. Since then i have not had the time to really do another but since i was preparing for the birth of Mikhail, about 2 weeks before his was due to come into this world, i was again doing some research on baby wipes and what is best in the market now. After all that marathon night research, I think i finally found the wipes i want to use on him during his newborn stage (because you know their skin is most delicate during the first 3 months! Im super excited to share this great product with you guys! Its the BeBeSup Baby Skin Lab wipes!!

There are 3 different types of wipe from BeBeSup

BeBeSup Zero, BeBeSup Sensitive and BeBeSup SheerGold

BeBeSup Zero, BeBeSup Sensitive and BeBeSup SheerGold

At a glance, it seems like there are many baby wet wipes for us to choose from in the market.

However, when you take a closer look, especially at the ingredients, you will only realise that there are not many choices we have. Paraben, Methylisothiazolinone(MIT), Phenoxyethanol and other harmful ingredients are still commonly found in many baby wipes. Without the awareness, many parents unknowingly applied these harmful ingredients onto their children. It can be serious if there is any occurrence of complication on sensitive skin, especially for newborns.

On your next purchase of your wipes, keep a closer look at the ingredients.
Try to avoid below ingredients as much as possible:
Phenoxyethanol
Paraben – Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Butylparaben, Benzylparaben
MIT – Methylisothiazolinone
CMIT – Chloromethylisothiazolinone
IPBC – Iodopropynyl Butylcarbamate
BKC – Benzalkonium Chloride
FWA – Fluorescent Whitening Agents
PHMB – Polyhexamethylene Biguanide
PHMG – Polyhexamethylene Guanidine
PGH – Oligoethoxyethyl Guanidine Chloride
Formaldehyde
Perfume
Alcohol
The above ingredients are harmful and too harsh for the delicate skins of our little ones (and ourselves)!

Why Choose BeBeSup?

Its important that we know what goes into our wipes since we are using it to wipe sensitive areas (baby bum, private areas, face, hands etc)! Its best to be informed, am i right? With all the chemicals in our products these days, we can never be too careful and when it comes to my babies, i’d rather be safe than sorry. But of course, thats just paranoid me (anyone else with me on this one?).

How i found out about this product?

I was doing my research on the wipes available in the market right now and came across a few that i was interested in testing out. I approached the companies or local distributors/vendors and asked for a sample for my review purposes and BeBeSup was one of them. After using a pack of their BeBeSup Sensitive (i brought it to the hospital with me for the delivery), i was sold! Even the nursery nurse commented that my wipes are very good! 😀 Of course that made me happy because it shows that im good at QC-ing products for my baby! The reason why the Sensitive range from BeBeSup is perfect for my newborn baby’s skin is simple, newborns poo like 8 times a day (i dont know about yours but mine poos after every feed). Also, for the first week, their poo is a slimy black texture thats not very easy to wipe off! Trust me, i tried wiping with the wipes provided by the hospital and it took me 3 wipes to clear the mess. With my BeBeSup wipes, just 1 wipe was enough. And because you need to wipe their butts so frequently, its important to use a wipe that will not cause irritation which could result in a bad case of nappy rash (inflamed skin on the butt and private area). The Sensitive range contains Anti-Inflammatory ingredients which will help to further prevent the delicate baby skin from becoming irritated from the frequent wiping! And i find the wipes really moist and super super super soft! I ordered a whole carton the second i got home from the hospital and delivery was fast!

The only thing i can maybe complain about this product is that sometimes, i might pull out 2 wipes at the same time. When its dark and i cant see (changing diaper in the night with really minimal light). But i usually just stuff the extra wipe right back into the packet or use it to wipe my breast (after latching) or face. Im not sure if its just in my imagination, but i find that the wipes leaves my face feeling really fresh and skin feels smooth and moisturized.
